Resource Packages
Vital Signs and architecture faculty at
schools across the country have developed these packages to assist instructors and
students in framing building investigations. They contain detailed background information
as well as field investigation protocols at three skill levels. This page provides quick
descriptions of the packages.
Paper copies of each Resource Package were
distributed faculty members at architecture schools in North America in May 1996. To learn
who received a copy at your school contact Cris
Benton. If you want an electronic copy of a package, they are available to be
downloaded here.

Lending Library of
Equipment Toolkits
Since the Fall of 1997, Vital Signs has made
eight loaner sets of building investigation tools available to schools of architecture and
architectural engineering. The toolkits support the field study protocols contained in the
Resource Packages as well as many other field investigation methods. These loans allow
faculty and students to gain first-hand experience with the measurement devices and their
applications. This page describes the tools contained in the toolkit.
For information on borrowing the toolkit, see the Request
for Proposals: Vital Signs Equipment Toolkits page.
