Spring 1998 Student Case Study Competition

Vital Signs conducted its second Student Case Study Competition in the spring of 1998.  The results of the competition are now available. We will  publish the winners in PDF format in the near future. You can also view the program for the competition.

Spring 1998: $5,000 incentive grants for teachers

In the spring of 1998, Vital Signs awarded seven $5,000 incentive grants to educators at ACSA schools to support student field investigations of existing buildings. We plan to begin publishing the results of their work on the internet during the summer of 1998.

Fall 1996 Student
Case Study Competition

This competition challenged students to create top-notch case studies and submit them to Vital Signs. In January of 1997, a jury of architecture educators and professionals reviewed all submissions and selected six winning entries. A summary of comments from the jury can be found in the jury report.
