19th century houses, and cityscapes. Approximately 100 slides of commercial areas, housing and the waterfront in Beirut before the civil war commenced in
1975.
Beit Eddine Palace: (now
museum) built by Emir Bechir el-Chehabi outside Beirut in the 19th
century. Approximately 50 slides of this quintessential Mediterranean Arab
palace complex, divided into 3 main pavilions for administrative, leisure,
and domestic functions.
Also, approximately 1000 slides of Baalbek, Byblos, Anjar, the Lebanese
countryside and cedars, and colonial-era architecture.
