Conservatory of Flowers
Golden Gate Park

(page 3)

In late May 2003, while test flying my new Dopero in Berkeley, I bumped into friend Andrew Blyholder Andy, a fellow architect, brought me up to date ont he years-long restoration of the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. He mentioned that they would soon be whitewashing the glazing. So, I went over that weekend and shot the building while it was still clear.

I returned in late June to shoot the partially whitewashed structure. A page is also available with aerial images from a 1997 visit to the then dilapidated conservatory.

The source files are generally 1704 x 2272 pixels and run about 1.3 Mb each.

Explanatory note. This page was created using Photoshop 7.0's Web Gallery script. The script handles the resizing, sharpening, and equalization of the images automatically. While this is certainly convenient for your author the results are not quite as nice as custom processing.
