Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Thumbnail Gallery

Salt Evaporation Pond
Don Edwards SF Bay National Wildlife Reserve

Images taken during a demonstration flight with Marina McDougall and her support team. This visit split time between the kite and the field microscope. Wind conditions were light (as suggested by the glassy water surface) but the Sutton 30 flew as smooth as silk.

Explanatory note. This page was created using Photoshop 7.0's Web Gallery script. The script handles the resizing, sharpening, and equalization of the images automatically. While this is certainly convenient for your author the results are not quite as nice as custom processing.
