Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Location Maps
The Pacific Ocean presents Northern California with persistently cool waters -- too cool for swimming except for the warmest of days. Still, when it does turn warm Bay Area folks flock to the beaches by the thousands and the Bentons are no exception. Limantour Beach is one of our favorites. The waters of Drakes Bay are protected from the highest surf and the beaches are quite scenic. We often end up in the water despite the chill.
Note: This map series was created using USGS maps. I worked with the CD-ROM collection of Bay Area maps created by Wildflower Productions. I've really enjoyed this software and recommend it to others interested in maps of the San Francisco Bay Area. The map series may lag a bit behind my posting of gallery pages. I will try to update it every month or two. For the latest gallery pages see the What's New section. A diagram of gallery location map relationships is available as well. |
