A note from Benton: In March 1996, Michel Dusariez forwarded an e-mail version of the KAPWA Foundation's most recent newsletter. I'd agreed to make the newsletter available via the KAP WWW site and its complete text, as received from KAPWA-Foundation, is provided below. The newsletter clearly contains useful information as well as an accounting of KAPWA's sometimes turbulent history. For comment or more information please respond to Michel Dusariez, President, KAPWA-Foundation.

UNTIRING TRAVELER

Our friend Katsutaka MUROOKA paid us a short surprise visit in November 1995. To our great amusement and pleasure we agreed to let him use the KAPWA-FOUNDATION office as the base of his operations for his European visit. In fact in the space of a week we met him and drove him no less than 6 times to the airport, so that he could visit on the one hand, Wolfgang BIECK and his German friends and on the other hand, the japanese team working on the archeological site at POMPEI-Italy.

We maintain, of course, very strong links with Katsutaka MUROOKA and the JAPAN KITE PHOTOGRAPHY ASSOCIATION.

MEETINGS

At the moment we are just finishing off this information letter, on of our French correspondents, José WALLOIS of Calais, told us of his intention to organize a visit to Belgium, to maintain contact between aerial photographers of the north of France and those who live in Belgium.

We remind you that José WALLOIS is one of our most active correspondents in the north of France. He has participated very frequently in meetings and exhibitions. Bravo for his efficiency.

The place chosen for the visit next spring is Brussels and surroundings. Any Belgian or French enthusiast who wish to join this visit should contact José WALLOIS who will centralize the addresses. As soon as a date is decided on they will be informed by letter.
