
Notes on Kite Aerial Photography: Background
Toward the end of 1995 I was taking quite a few photographs on the Berkeley Campus. I sent a few examples over to the Alumni Association to see if they would be interested in using them. It turns out they were. This led to a cover and interior pictoral spread - my first in a color publication..
For some reason the graphic designer selected a relatively fuzzy image for the full bleed cover. The image was actually a vertical scene cropped from a small (5x7) horizontal format print. Go figure.
The interior spread was also a full-bleed layout photomontage of nine KAP images..
