Dynamic Effects

(Missed due to late start in class)  Actually, I did this.  ...originals w/ Chris?

For this exercise we (Karen Richards, Sannihita Takkallapalli, and myself) constructed a daylighting model representing an existing space, an art classroom in Kroeber.  After documenting the differences between the model and real space, we modified and re-tested the model for comparison. CLICK LOWER IMAGES TO SEE CONCEPT RESULTS!

This exercise intended to explore various qualities of light, such as color and contrast, within a consistent interior environment.  The standard 'Fish in Box' method was employed for qualitative comparisons between material scenes..

This exercise began as an attempted video collage, though ended most successfully as still images depicting the effect of light reflected off a water source.  The space of experimentation comes from this semester's thesis project, a public pier running below a hatchery building for fish.
