Watch the shadows dance for you!


In this exercise, we were challenged to find a means of capturing the dynamic effect of daylight. I decided to tackle my favorite feature of the Hearst Field Annex studios: the translucent west-facing clerestory. The series of photos were taken over a two hour period from 3-5pm on a partly cloudy day in late April. The images were then complied into an animated GIF using the very simple (and freeware) UnFREEz for convenient web display.
