Watch the shadows track through the space!


This little video illustrates one of many ways in which the dynamic effects of daylight can be captured. Using the heliodon at the PG&E Center in San Fransisco, a full winter day was simulated and recorded. The model is a 1"=1' mockup of a kitchen with a window benchseat. The small openings are mirrored surfaces and therefore reflect lots of light onto the ceiling.
